Availability: This guide describes the new exercise-library experience. If your account does not yet show the CC catalog controls, contact support to check availability.
Use a playable video URL from YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia for your exercise. The provider’s viewing and embedding settings affect whether clients can watch it.
Add the video to an exercise you own
Open an exercise in My Exercises, choose Edit exercise, and enter the URL in its video-link field. CC catalog details are read-only; save your own editable copy first if you want to use a different video.
Save your change, then check playback in the intended workout and client view. A library edit does not guarantee that every saved workout uses the updated exercise.
Vimeo
Copy the viewer-facing video link from Vimeo’s sharing controls, rather than an owner’s manage-page URL. Keep the whole link.
An unlisted Vimeo URL can contain an extra privacy hash. That is valid: do not remove the hash, because Vimeo requires it for sharing and embedding. A Private video is restricted to its owner and team; password or domain restrictions may also prevent the expected client playback.
Choose privacy settings appropriate for your intended viewers, then test the complete link in Coach Catalyst. If it does not play, contact support before changing privacy just to shorten the URL. See Vimeo’s current privacy settings.

YouTube
Use the full video watch URL, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID. Choose viewing settings that allow your clients to watch the video, and ensure embedding is allowed.
Test the saved video from the client view. A private, restricted or embedding-disabled video may not play there; age restrictions can also send viewers back to YouTube. Do not rely on a short-link format to guarantee a particular player appearance. See YouTube’s embedding guidance.
Wistia
From the video’s manage page, use its sharing controls and choose Copy link for the public media share URL. Use the share link, not the owner’s URL ending in /manage. Avoid a link that expires before your clients need it.
Paste the URL into the exercise’s video field, save, and test client playback. See Wistia’s sharing guidance.

If a video does not play
Check that the link is complete, is accessible to the intended viewer and permits embedded playback. If you still need help, contact [email protected] with the video URL and where playback fails.
