First Steps πŸš€

How to get familiar with the platform and explore Coach Catalyst from both the coach and client side.

When you first signed up, we asked a few questions about how you coach. Based on your answers, we’ve already prepared your account so you can start exploring straight away.

We’ve added you as a client in your own account and assigned you one of our ready-to-use, done-for-you marketplace programs that best matches your coaching style.

This means you can test the software from both sides before adding real clients or building anything from scratch.

1. Download The Apps

We recommend downloading both apps so you can see how Coach Catalyst works from the coach and client perspective.

πŸ§‘β€πŸ’Ό COACH CATALYST APP (COACHES)

The Coach Catalyst Coach app is used by coaches to manage clients on the go. From the app, you can manage clients, read and respond to messages, view client progress and metrics, access communities, and update your profile and notifications.

  • Click here to download the Coach Catalyst app from the App Store

  • Click here to download the Coach Catalyst app from the Google Play Store

πŸ“± MYCOACH APP (CLIENTS)

The MyCoach app is what your clients will use to interact with your coaching.

From the app, clients can view their program dashboard, complete actions, log workouts, submit forms, add metrics and photos, send messages, and interact in communities. They can also access their profile tab to view resources, track progress, connect apps, and update their settings.

  • Click here to download the MyCoach app from the App Store

  • Click here to download the MyCoach app from the Google Play Store

Your login credentials are the same for both apps, so you can log in to the MyCoach app using your Coach Catalyst details.

2. Update Your Account Settings

πŸ–ŒοΈπŸŽ¨ ORGANIZATION SETTINGS AND BRANDING

  1. To edit your account settings and set your branding, click on the Account Menu at the bottom of the left sidebar (your profile picture or initials), then select Settings.

  2. From here, click on Organization Settings.

  3. Add your organization name, upload your logo, and select your theme color.

  4. Press Save to finish.

βš™οΈπŸ”” PROFILE SETTINGS

  1. To edit your profile, click on the Account Menu, then select Settings > My Profile.

  2. From here, you can confirm your name (this is client-facing), set your time zone, upload a profile photo, and adjust your notification settings.

Click here for more details on profile settings.

3. Explore the Platform

Now that you’ve downloaded the apps and updated your settings, you can start exploring the platform.

Because you’ve been set up as both a coach and a client, you can see how everything works from both sides.

As a coach, you can try assigning a program, sending a message, and viewing activity and progress. As a client, you can work through the program, complete actions, reply to messages, and add metrics or photos.

This allows you to see how the coach and client experiences work together before adding real clients or building your own content.
